4 Getting started

1. Charge

Charge the built-in battery over USB-C.

2. Power on

Press and hold the button for about 1 second to power on. If the device is in Ship Mode, the same 1-second hold exits it.

3. Connect your audio system

Use a 3.5 mm cable to connect EV155 to the AUX input of powered speakers, an amplifier or a car stereo. The 3.5 mm jack is a line output and cannot drive headphones directly.

4. Pair your phone

1. Go to Bluetooth → Pair, or double-press the button to enter pairing.
2. Select the device in your phone’s Bluetooth settings to pair.

5. Choose a codec (optional)

EV155 uses LDAC first by default. To set a preferred codec, go to Bluetooth → Codecs. The display shows the codec in use.

6. Adjust volume

Use the button on the Home page to adjust volume.

Factory reset

Go to System → Factory Reset. If the device stops responding, disconnect USB-C and hold the button for about 10 seconds to restart it.
