EV156 is a desktop multi-source audio decoding hub that combines Bluetooth receive, multiple wired inputs, digital outputs and an analog output. It suits TVs, computers, CD players and traditional hi-fi systems. An external CS43198 DAC delivers high-quality RCA analog output.

- Bluetooth 6.0 on a Qualcomm QCC3084 chip
- LDAC first by default, plus aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX LL, aptX, AAC and SBC, with manual codec selection
- LE Audio LC3 and Auracast receive
- Multiple inputs: Bluetooth, USB, optical, coaxial, RCA IN and HDMI ARC (ARC version)
- Three simultaneous outputs: Optical OUT, Coaxial OUT and RCA OUT
- CS43198 DAC driving RCA OUT
- USB input up to 96 kHz / 24-bit, optical and coaxial inputs up to 192 kHz / 24-bit
